Road Rash required exemplary punishments

Author: Parthiv Gupta

May I know What exact punishment will be given to the Cab driver of Gurgaon call centre who killed one 12 years school boy and Critically injured two More School Children who are on ventilators now ? This said incident happened at kesavpuram in north Delhi when a High speed Call centre Vehicle Hit a school van on Monday morning. The call centre vehicle, a sumo hit the School van with the tremendous force. The sumo’s momentum dragged the van along with it for Nearly 100 Meters after the collision before they both stopped. The driver of the call centre vehicle was reportedly driving at over 100 km per hour.

So, what will happen to that killer driver? In all probability, he will be charged for negligence driving and culpable homicide and after few days, he will be freed on bail to kill some poorer People Out on the road for the human need. This is what exactly our Indian law and system to curb the Killing practice on the road. What could be worse case than the new revelation that in Delhi Veterinary doctors do give License to rickshaw puller for driving rickshaw on the Delhi’s killer road?

However, one of the most important official factors for creating this traffic mayhem is the non-bothering, irresponsible, and most corrupt officials of our own government which is meant for public Convenience chosen by the people, for the people, of the people and to the people but they actually do vice-a-versa. What could be more shocking and bizarre that the Honorable Bombay high court has to intervene in the matters of public works department and directing them to do the job that they are supposed to do and that is why they have been appointed for or Delhi High court issuing Directions on every alternate day to the Delhi municipal corporation to remove the encroachments from the Delhi road for smooth Traffic Movement and Decreasing the accidents frequency?

Hence, unless we have some deterrent law to curb the killer driver as well as the corrupt official who is absolutely failed in performing their duty of Public first. I am really appalled to see at young man in a state of drunkenness , killing poor people on the pavements , killing school children and many others By Reckless driving . They deserve exemplary punishments. Besides serving time in jail, theirs car should be sold and amount should be distributed to the relatives of the victims. In addition, heavy fines should be imposed on them and the amt. so Collected should be given to the kin of the Family who has suffered .
